NSP Ice Cream Social - Next Monday Night
 The Greater Washington, DC Chapter of the Network of Spiritual Progressives Invites you to: "Come Beat the Heat with Us" NSP-DC is having an Ice Cream Social: Make your own ice cream sundae or banana split and mingle with people who are progressive, spiritual and open minded. Let's work at changing the world, and have fun while doing it! Come and find out what exciting activities NSP-DC has planned for the fall, and how you can help us overturn the corporate friendly Citizen's United Supreme Court decision and promote the Global Marshall Plan. Welcome to the Blog of the Greater Washington, DC chapter of the Network of Spiritual Progressives (NSP-DC)
We have some exciting events upcoming, the details of which will be announced soon. For example, NSP-DC will be having an Ice-cream Social in August to help you get through the hot steamy "dog days" of summer. The time and location for this event will be announced in the upcoming week.
We also hope to introduce some NSP-DC chapter Action Groups. One action group being formed will allow you to help us overturn the Citizens United Supreme Court Decision with the Environmental and Social Responsibility Amendment (ESRA)
We have a second action group planned that will focus upon stepping up NSP’s efforts to advocate for The Global Marshall Plan in Congress - see Global Marshall Plan
Now is the time to get involved, plan actions and network with fellow spiritual activists.
Our regular chapter meetings will resume in September with an entirely new format.
